A few months after the opening of InViis Lab by Burkinabé engineer and entrepreneur Arsène Héma and his business partner Hubert B. N’ Do, the digital manufacturing laboratory has become fully operational. InViis Lab aims to reduce the digital divide in Burkina Faso and promote a more inclusive approach to digital technologies and access to the job market for young innovators. The laboratory also aims to develop technological solutions that respond to concrete needs, such as the strengthening of agriculture and the development of digital management systems.

Thanks to the support of Fondazione Aurora, in collaboration with Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and Università degli Studi di Trento, the InViis Lab team has recently completed the setup of the laboratory in a new structure that houses its cutting-edge tools, including 3D printers, PCs , CNC cutters and laser engravers. The team is also already active in carrying out numerous projects and contracts, also thanks to the support of interns from Burkinabé universities of IT, electronics and telecommunications.

The activities of InViis Lab have therefore been officially launched and from September events and promotional activities will be organised to present its services and create a meeting center for innovators, entrepreneurs, trainers and students that contributes to the digital transition and the development of professional opportunities in Burkina Faso.
