Con oltre 20 tra sfilate ed eventi culturali, <strong>l&rsquo;ottava edizione, tra il 21 e il 26 settembre 2022<\/strong>, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ha rappresentato la celebrazione della presenza di designers italiani originari del Sud Globale nel mondo dell\u2019alta moda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\nIl moto di quest&rsquo;anno <strong>\u201cWE WANT A REVOLUTION\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> ha funto da <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fil rouge<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, unendo alla ricerca di design unici la scelta di materiali alternativi e a basso impatto ambientale. A sfilare, le collezioni di stilisti con i background pi\u00f9 diversi, alcuni in Italia per la prima volta, altri grandi nomi come Stella Jean, <strong>Tokyo James<\/strong> e <strong>Maxivive<\/strong>. Il ritorno della designer Stella Jean all\u2019Adi design Museum ha rappresentato un momento fondamentale dopo il suo ritiro nel 2019 per protestare perch\u00e9 l\u2019unica designer nera nel calendario della Milano Fashion Week. <\/span><b>Stella Jean ha presentato la sua nuova collezione accompagnata dai designer di WAMI ( We are Made in Italy), apr<\/b><b>endo simbolicamente<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> un nuovo capitolo nella storia della moda italiana in cui trovano spazio talenti di diversi background (quest\u2019anno provenienti da Benin, Francia, Marocco, Cuba, Italia<\/strong>, WAMI &#8211; We Are Made in Italy, <strong>Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana <\/strong>e<strong> Fondazione Aurora.<\/strong> Anche quest\u2019anno Fondazione Aurora ha voluto essere presente e di supporto l\u2019Associazione Afro Fashion, supportando la mostra virtuale nel Metaverso che ha aperto l\u2019Afro Fashion Week, una presentazione dei risultati del corso di fotografia <strong>\u201cTracing identities through fashion photography\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>realizzato negli scorsi mesi in partenariato con Associazione Afro Fashion, Laba Douala e Super &#8211; scuole civiche di Milano.
