Soutien aux jeunes chercheurs et analystes d’Afrique et de la diaspora
Les contributions visent à promouvoir un récit de l’Afrique (ou des Afriques) à travers des analyses et des interviews réalisées par des jeunes, des étudiants, des journalistes et des professionnels du Continent ou de la diaspora. Les articles offrent des perspectives enrichies par les expériences directes des auteurs sur des questions d’importance sociale, économique, politique et culturelle et ils s’interrogent sur la pertinence sociale, politique, économique et culturelle des processus en cours et sur l’impact qu’ils génèrent dans les communautés locales pour atteindre les objectifs de développement durable des agendas 2030 et 2063.
Les Perspectives sont configurées comme un espace dynamique dans lequel les auteurs peuvent renforcer leurs compétences professionnelles, créer des liens inter et intracontinentaux et renforcer un canal d’échange structuré dans le domain migration et développement. L’objectif est aussi de favoriser la rencontre entre les intérêts des entreprises et des communautés locales africaines, d’une part, et les priorités identifiées par les institutions et les acteurs de la coopération italiens et européens, d’autre part.

Nos rubriques proposent des analyses socio-économiques du continent et des réflexions plus amples sur les défis liés aux Objectifs de Développement Durable. En recoupant les thèmes et les initiatives soutenus par la fondation, ils offrent aux lecteurs un point de vue basé sur l’expérience directe des auteurs et sur les projections pour l’avenir.
INTERVIEWS
Fondazione Aurora promeut un dialogue bidirectionnel entre l’Europe et l’Afrique, dans lequel les protagonistes donnent la parole aux expériences de leur propre territoire. Nous considérons les interviews avec les partenaires locaux comme un outil précieux pour réduire la distance géographique, pour capturer les spécificités des interventions et l’impact qu’elles produisent dans la société.
Lwando Xaso: The Voice of the Youth in Building a Better Future
After looking at historical periods of great suffering such as apartheid in South Africa, where people were silenced and marginalized, it becomes important to give space to historically marginalized people and use our imagination to create a more just future. In this video Lwando Xaso shares her experience of youth mobilization and discusses how youth organizations can make their voices heard and participate in decision-making processes. The video also covers how to do capacity building to support the acquisition of new skills and the roles of initiatives such as the WikiAfrica Education Program promoted by Fondazione Aurora and Moleskine Foundation, which aims to make young people active producers of knowledge.

Classe 1990, Mohamed Mbougar Sarr si è aggiudicato il Premio Goncourt con ”La più recondita memoria degli uomini, traduzione italiana a cura di Edizioni E/O, un romanzo universale che attinge alla cultura Sérère e alla letteratura dell’America Latina. Fondazione Aurora ha organizzato una conversazione letteraria tra Pap Khouma e Mohamed Mbougar Sarr in occasione della sua partecipazione alla Fiera “Più libri più liberi”. Un dialogo letterario ricco, tra due autori che rappresentando due diverse generazioni letterarie e che, attraverso le proprie opere, creano livelli nuovi di interconnessione tra mondi geograficamente lontani.

Sarah Kamsu è una giornalista milanese di origine camerunese che ha fondato il gruppo We Africans United nel 2020, con l’intento di stimolare i giovani afrodiscendenti ad esplorare storie e culture del proprio continente di origine e formare nuovi leader consapevoli che possano essere pionieri di un nuovo cambiamento. In questa conversazione con Beatriz Lincoln Verçosa, Sarah racconta i due anni di We Africans United e l’esperienza come conduttrice del programma francese “Afrik Story” trasmesso in 40 paesi africani per raccontare in pillole la storia africana.
Afrocuration 3.0 Moz – Who We Are
Il 7 e l’8 ottobre 30 giovani tra studenti universitari, professori, giornalisti e attivisti mozambicani hanno preso parte alla terza edizione di AfroCuration in Mozambico per promuovere la crescita della lingua e cultura mozambicana Emakhwa su Wikipedia. L’iniziativa è stata organizzata da Ethale Publishing nell’ambito del programma WikiAfrica Education, in partenariato con Moleskine Foundation e Fondazione Aurora. “Who We Are” AfroCuration 3.0 Mozambique è ricaduto nella settimana del 30° anniversario – il 4 ottobre – della firma dell’Accordo Generale di Pace di Roma del 1992, il Trattato che ha segnato la fine della guerra in Mozambico.

Fondazione Aurora collabora con Movimento Shalom, OCADES Banfora e l’impresa Puits de Jacob per contribuire all’accesso universale all’acqua e creare occupazione locale. Questa impresa di perforazione di pozzi d’acqua costituita da 5 giovani burkinabè, opera nella Regione delle Cascate e nel comune di Banfora, a favore delle comunità locali e in linea con il piano di sviluppo idrico comunale e regionale.
Dal Mozambico all’Italia per diffondere la letteratura africana
La partnership tra Fondazione Aurora ETS ed Ethale Publishing è nata nel quadro dei percorsi formativi di WikiAfrica Education in sinergia con Moleskine Foundation. Dal 2021 Fondazione Aurora supporta attivamente AfroCuration Mozambique e il consolidamento imprenditoriale di Ethale Publishing. Jessemusse Cacinda, Manager Director nella settimana dal 27 settembre al 5 ottobre è stato in visita in Italia, nell’occasione insieme al Co-fondatore Alex MacBeth, il 28 settembre è avvenuto un incontro con Fondazione Aurora.
