Water well drilling company made up of 8 young Burkinabès. It operates in the Cascades Region and in the municipality of Banfora, in favor of local communities and in line with the municipal and regional water development plan.

The drilling company is made up of 8 young Burkinabes and will contribute, by 2030, to:
> Increase the universal access to drinking water through the drilling and rehabilitation of wells;
> Improve the quality of drinking water;
> Increase the access to sanitary facilities;
> Increase the company turnover, promote new employment opportunities and improve the socio-economic conditions of the community.

→ Increased access to clean water: realisation of 90 wells from November 2021 to August 2023
→ Local ownership: enterprise registered with the Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce and team Burkinabé

→ Structuring of the enterprise:
> Regular technical assistance for programming, business planning, definition of governance and organisation chart, market analysis, search for international partnerships
> Increase in turnover for the company: in the period November 2021 – August 2023 revenues of 98mln CFA (approximately €150,000)
> Preparation of the budget for the three drilling campaigns: November 2021 – July 2022, October 2022 – August 2023, November 2023 – ongoing)
> Acquisition of local skills: implemented 2 field trainings on drilling techniques, worksite-schools, courses on direction and supervision of works, use and maintenance of equipment, accounting. Training programme for geophysical water research
> Equipment supply: provision of operational funds for the purchase of machinery and consumables
> Communication strategy planning and preparation of promotional material
> Professional exchanges and mentoring: specialised technical support
> Analysis of the needs for well renovation: locationing of the drillings and identification of disused structures for maintenance
> Enterprise support: high-level Burkinabe consultant employee for baseline definition, company health check, customer and tender research, market entry strategy proposals, search for potential suppliers

> 8 young Burkinabe employed on a regular basis and planning for 2 new recruits as of November 2022

> Agreements with OCADES and Movimento Shalom and with private companies and other organisations, including international ones
> Partnership agreement with Banque Agricole du Faso for the realisation of forages for agricultural entrepreneurs
> Participation in national Catholic Relief Services (CRS) tenders for the realisation of forages
> Operational agreements with Puits de Jacob for machinery management, staff training and social impact
> Company presentation to all local authorities (ceremony on 1st March 2022)
> Strategic international partnerships, identification of potential customers and involvement of the private sector at the Italian Stock Exchange in Milan
